LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A woman died Monday night after a car tumbled down an embankment in La Mesa.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the 4800 block of La Cruz Drive around 3:49 p.m.
Authorities confirmed that a couple was driving along the road when the car drove over the hill. The female passenger died while the man was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
