SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman is dead after being hit by a car in Mid-City Monday night.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. on the 4600 block of El Cajon Boulevard.
San Diego Police say the woman, who is in her 60s, was pinned beneath the car before an ambulance arrived. She was later pronounced dead.
Police say employees at a nearby auto body shop ran over, using a jack to lift the car off the woman.
The driver is cooperating, police say.
