SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A judge announced a guilty verdict Tuesday for Regina Johnson in the shooting deaths of her husband and daughter in their San Carlos home.
Johnson ambushed her 14-year-old daughter Aliya and husband, Ruben, in their condo in May 2012.
During her trial, Johnson claimed her husband shot their daughter in an argument about skipping school.
Johnson said she endured years of abuse and killed Ruben in self defense.

Prosecutors said Johnson struggled with severe paranoia and depression and was furious over her husband’s infidelity.
Johnson was at the home with the bodies for three days before police came.
