SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV)--Police released surveillance footage Thursday in hopes of identifying two masked men involved in an armed robbery at a hotel Tuesday night.
Two masked suspects entered the front desk area of the Quality Inn on West San Ysidro Boulevard around 11:25 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
- The first suspect wearing a light-colored mask demanded money from two clerks at gunpoint.
- The second suspect wore a monkey mask and jumped over the front counter.

The clerks complied and the thieves escaped by car with money from the cash register, the victims' wallets and a backpack.
Suspect 1 was described as a white male, in his 20s, 6 feet tall and weighed about 150 pounds. He wore a plain blue baseball cap, grey gloves, black jacket, grey shirt and blue jeans. He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun
Suspect 2 was described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male, in his 20s. He wore a black t-shirt with a picture of a pit bull on the front of it, blue jeans and blue gloves.
They escaped in a light-colored 1998-2002 Toyota Corolla.
