EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - Students at Hillsdale Middle school tested out new 'augmented reality' devices Wednesday.
It's part of Google's Expedition program, which brings virtual technology into classrooms.
The device is essentially a smartphone attached to a selfie stick. Through the phone's camera, the software superimposes 3D images. In Wednesday's test, students experienced either an ocean landscape or artifacts from ancient Rome.
