ANAHEIM, Calif. (KGTV) -- Wednesday, Disneyland Resort announced that it will be opening a new hotel.
The hotel, slated to open in 2021, will house 700 rooms and be located at the west end of the Downtown Disney District.
The hotel will also host a monorail platform within the hotel for direct transport into the Disneyland Park.
Disneyland said the hotel will generate roughly $25 million in new taxes within its first five years of operation. Construction of the hotel will begin in the summer of 2018.
