UPDATE: Deputies said the device was safely contained.
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Authorities responded to reports of a suspicious device discovered at an East County storage facility.
San Diego sheriff's deputies closed the area at Massachusetts Ave. and Main St. at a U-Haul storage facility in Lemon Grove just before 11 a.m.
A description of the device was not made available, but sheriff's officials told 10News Bomb/Arson Unit personnel safely removed the device "without incident" about an hour later.
No injuries were reported.
