SAN DIEGO -- Three armed suspects entered a house through the garage and confronted the married couple who lived inside, robbed them at gunpoint and beat the husband in the Bay Terraces area of San Diego, a police sergeant said today.
The home invasion robbery occurred at 10:20 p.m. Friday at 7262 Brookhaven Road, according to San Diego police Sgt. Michael Tansey.
The man and woman in the house were confronted by three masked men inside their garage, Tansey said. One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the couple hand over property to them. What was stolen was not yet released by police.
After the couple handed over their property the man with the gun hit the husband in the head with the weapon. The wife was not injured, according to Tansey.
The three suspects were described as black males, 20 to 30 years-old and wearing bandanas over their faces, Tansey said.
Anyone with information on this robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
