SAN DIEGO - Police are searching for the man they said robbed a college area cafe at gunpoint early Saturday.
The suspect entered The Living Room Cafe, in El Ceritto, shortly after midnight and walked to a back office, where two employees were located, an employee told 10News' Grecia Aguilar.
The employee also told 10News the suspect told the two employees to lay on the ground and countdown until they left.
San Diego Police said the suspect demanded money from the employees and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and a box.

The employees are reportedly doing okay following the robbery. No one was injured during the incident.
Police described the suspect as a black male, with thin build, and standing about 5-foot-8-inches told. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans, black running shoes with white soles and a grey scarf around his face.
San Diego Robbery Detectives are investigating the incident.
The robbery is just the latest in a string of other similar instances to hit the college area.
San Diego State University police warned students and visitors Friday, after they said there has been a series of armed robberies of people walking around the area over the past month.
Prior to the campus' warning, a Metro PCS store on El Cajon Blvd. was also robbed this week, joining the list of several other robberies that have hit the cell phone company's stores around the San Diego area.
