SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A three-year-old child suffered serious injuries after he was run over by a pickup truck Saturday morning in El Cerrito.
The child reportedly stepped in front of a full-sized truck in the Quad area of Crawford High School, when he was hit. The truck ran over the child's head, according to San Diego Police.
Police said the child sustained non-life threatening injuries, including two skull fractures and abrasions.
The 31-year-old driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The incident is under investigation.
