OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - The body of an adult woman was located near an Oceanside senior center Tuesday.
Oceanside Police said the body was discovered in a canyon, just south of the Oceanside Senior Citizen Center at 455 Country Club Lane, near Interstate 5.
Police did not say whether the woman was older or younger, only that she had been found face down.
Authorities are currently investigating the scene.
The incident is the second such discovery in Oceanside Tuesday. Just after 8 a.m., police were notified of the discovery of a body at a home in the 2000 block of South Tremont Street.
In that discovery, police said an 18-year-old man was found on a lawn with blood on his face and abrasions on his arm. That death is also still being investigated.
