SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police are searching for two men they say entered a San Carlos townhome and stole items and a vehicle in a brazen home invasion robbery.

SDPD said the two men walked into the home in the 5600 block of Sirocco Lane just before 10:30 a.m. Friday, while a 22-year-old woman was sleeping inside the home.

The suspects entered through the home's open garage and were inside the home for about 20 minutes, according to SDPD. One suspect was armed with a handgun.

The woman was woken up by the intruders and the intruders demanded money from her, police said, and was told to stay in her room.

The suspects ransacked the home and made off with various items. They fled the scene with the woman's roommate's white, 2015 Nissan Sentra. The vehicle has front-end damage and license plate 7PQN341.

The woman was not injured.

Police described one suspect as a black man in his 20s standing about 6-feet tall and wearing a gray shirt, and the other as a white man standing just under 6-feet, wearing a black sweater with a white Adidas logo and light blue jeans.

SDPD's Robbery Unit is currently investigating.
