A dog who was at the Bonita Animal Shelter for over a year finally has a forever home.
Tootsie, a 4-year-old pit bull, was adopted Tuesday morning.
We first told you about Tootsie last week. She was breaking a record, but not the good kind. She had been at the shelter for more than 373 days.

Tootsie came to the shelter as a stray last February.
The shelter said Tootsie likes to be the center of attention, she she would probably do best if she were the only dog in the house.
Department of Animal Services Deputy Director Dan DeSousa says there are still 130 other dogs at the Bonita location waiting to find their forever homes.
