ANZA, Calif. (KGTV) - A preliminary 3.1-magnitude earthquake jostled the Anza region, sending shivers into the North San Diego County area Saturday.

The tremor hit about two miles northeast of Anza, in southern Riverside County, just before 12 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It has a depth of about 7.4 miles.

According to the USGS' "Did you feel it?" map, the shakeup could be felt in Temecula and into Orange County, and as far away as Jamul. Most reports were centered around Cathedral City and Anza.

There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

One week ago, magnitude-3.5 and -3.2 earthquakes hit the same region.

Multiple aftershocks were recorded following Saturday's earthquake, though most below 1.0. The quake is the eighth above 2.5 recorded in the Anza area over the past 30 days, according to USGS.
