SAN DIEGO – Authorities are looking for two men who reportedly attempted to kidnap an 18-year-old woman in Santee earlier this month.

The kidnapping attempt occurred Oct. 6 at about noon. The victim told deputies she was walking to her car in a parking lot at Mast Park, located at 9125 Carlton Hills Blvd. when two men in a silver sedan drove up alongside her and began catcalling her.

The men continued to follow her in their car, even as she walked faster and broke into a run. As she was unlocking her door, the suspect in the passenger seat grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her into his vehicle. She was able to pull her arm away and get into her car.

The suspect vehicle circled the parking lot as the victim drove away.

The passenger was described as black, between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing a black baseball cap and black sunglasses. Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s department at 619-956?4000.
