SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — It's the perfect weekend to celebrate the special someone in your life, or the single life!

Hang out with some cool cats — that are adoptable — at Cat & Craft in Vista during their Cats, Love & Bubbles! event. Or, Duck Foot Brewing is offering an "Anti-Romance" party this Valentine's Day, featuring craft beer and adult-themed games and prizes.

If you can't wait for the Valentine's Day, check out Encinitas' Sweetheart's Ball for all ages. The event brings together a night of dancing in a family-friendly soiree.

San Diego will continue celebrating Lunar New Year during the San Diego Chines New Year Fair in downtown, featuring delicious food, traditional performances, and cultural displays.

Cats, Love & Bubbles!

Hang out with some adorable cats on Valentine's Day at Cat & Craft in Vista. Tickets get guests one hour in the cat lounge with precious, adoptable cats, complimentary champagne, and desserts from A Delight of France.

4th annual Anti-Romance Party
Where: Duck Foot Brewing; Cost: Free
Skipping the whole "Valentine's Day" vibe? Duck Foot has its own unique way to celebrate the holiday. Head over for adult-themed games and coloring books, prizes, and craft beer, including a special Red Ale with peanut butter and cocoa nibs.

FRIDAY

Sweetheart's Ball
Where: Encintas Community and Senior Center; Cost: $6-$9
Encinitas is invited sweethearts young and old to Encinitas Community Center for Sweetheart's Ball! Enjoy a night of dancing, light hors d'oeuvres, and treats and refreshments at this family-friendly event.

Sonic Chapel music series: Ashley Bathgate
Where: St. Michael's by the Sea; Cost: $15-$35
Chellist Ashely Bathgate will perform as part of the Carlsbad Music Festival's Sonic Chapel series. Bathgate's music and skill has been celebrated by numerous publications and she's worked alongside artists across music genres.

SATURDAY

Carnival of Caffeination
Where: 404 Euclid Ave., San Diego; Cost: $55
Modern Times Brewery is celebrating coffee, beer, and the combination of both at their annual Carnival of Caffeination this weekend at Jacob's Center. Taste the brewery's delicious creations as well as beers from several other brewers from San Diego and across the country. Profits benefit BikeSD, a non-profit working to support bicycling in San Diego.

37th annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair
Where: Downtown San Diego; Cost: Free
(Runs Saturday - Sunday) Celebrate Chinese New Year for two days downtown, with traditional performances, lion and dragon dancers, Asian art and culture, delicious Chinese and Asian foods, and more!

7th annual 5K Paw Walk in the Garden
Where: San Diego Botanic Garden; Cost: $14-$138
Bring your dog along for a stroll among the flowers at San Diego Botanic Garden for their 5K Paw Walk in the Garden. Follow through a 37-acre garden with your faithful canine, checking out a variety of plants native to California. Pet products and food for dogs (and people) will be available.

SUNDAY

Local Brews Local Grooves
Where: House of Blues San Diego; Cost: $10- $60
Enjoy som of San Diego finest beers and best local jams at House of Blues San Diego! Local breweries like Abnormal, Mike Hess, Mother Earth, Stone, and others will provide beer samples while you enjoy music from The Grooves, Chugboat, Night Like Thieves, The Night Howls, and others.

San Diego Fleet v. Atlanta Legends
Where: SDCCU Stadium; Cost: $20 and up
Football is back in San Diego! The San Diego Fleet hold their first home game of their inaugural season at SDCCU Stadium this weekend! Come out and support the new franchise as they battle the Atlanta Legends.

21st annual Fungus Fair
Where: Casa del Prado, Balboa Park; Cost: Free
Check out the most beautiful — and most dreadful — mushrooms San Diego County has to offer at the Fungus Fair presented by the San Diego Mycological Society. Guests can learn about the region's mushrooms through identification sessions, cooking demonstrations, lectures, and vendors.
