SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — It’s the last weekend before Christmas, perfect to take care of any last-minute shopping and enjoy the holiday season around town!

If you’re still looking for holiday fun, check out Seas ’N’ Greetings at Birch Aquarium for some SEAsonal fun with underwater creatures and a scuba diving Santa.

Hornblower Cruises is taking the holiday fun onto the bay with a special ugly sweater party with the folks from JAM’N 95.7.

Plus, enjoy free family activities Village Walk in Eastlake, Sheraton Carlsbad, and Allied Gardens Park.

Apollo 8 50th Anniversary Celebration
Where: San Diego Air & Space Museum; Cost: $195
The San Diego Air & Space Museum celebrates the anniversary of the Apollo 8 mission, with Bill Anders, who piloted the lunar module, as they honor the first first manned spaceflight to the moon and astronauts aboard.

Family-friendly Christmas Nights
Where: Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa; Cost: Free
Enjoy photos with Santa, S'mores roasting, cookie decorating, and much more at the Sheraton in Carlsbad this holiday weekend. Activities run 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are free for the whole family!

(Thursday - Sunday) Jump into some SEAsonal fun at Birch Aquarium with appearances by scuba Santa, themed animal encounters, activities, and more holiday fun with animals!

Winter Wonderland
Where: Fairmont Grand Del Mar; Cost: $20
(Thursday - Sunday) Take a ride down a giant snow hill, enjoy a holiday Ferris Wheel ride, take in the sounds of caroling, and get a little holiday shopping done at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar during their Winter Wonderland celebration!


Art of the Holiday
Where: Fallbrook Art Center; Cost: Free
(Thursday - Sunday) Peruse an array of holiday art by local artists at Fallbrook Art Center this weekend. Jewelry, wearable art, ceramics, and much more — perfect for last minute shoppers.

Ugly Sweater Holiday Cocktail Cruise
Where: San Diego Bay; Cost: $40 - $70
Jam out on San Diego Bay in your best ugly sweater with the crew from JAM’N 95.7. Hornblower Cruises is offering holiday fun on the bay with a 2-hour cruise, cocktails and Hors-d’oeuvres, and dancing and, of course, an ugly sweater contest!

San Diego Symphony: Noel Noel
Where: Jacobs Music Center/Copley Symphony Hall; Cost: $24 - $80
