SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Music will play center stage in multiple neighborhoods across San Diego this weekend.

Adams Avenue Unplugged brings 80 performances to Normal Heights, across several stages set up outside and inside local restaurants. Balboa Park will host a special opera celebration concert free for to the public at the organ pavilion.

In Encinitas, the Spring Street Fair is promising tons of live entertainment throughout a sprawling street fair with even more for families.

Plus, the San Diego Zoo celebrates World Penguin Day and art takes over Little Italy during the Mission Federal ArtWalk. Here's a look at what's happening around San Diego this weekend:

THURSDAY

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Where: Rooftop Cinema Club San Diego; Cost: $17 - $24
Enjoy a movie under the stars as Rooftop Cinema screens Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy on the Manchester Grand Hyatt's fourth-floor terrace. The outdoor venue hosts bottomless popcorn, cocktails, games, and of course city views under the stars.

World Penguin Day
Where: San Diego Zoo; Cost: Park admission
Celebrate World Penguin Day with San Diego Zoo's resident feathered friends at the park's Africa Rocks exhibit. Guests can make their own penguin ID card, get their face painted, and check out special events like penguin feeding, animal encounters, and and more.

FRIDAY

55th annual Lakeside Rodeo
Where: Lakeside Arena; Cost: $10 - $20
(Friday - Sunday) Enjoy a day at the rodeo in Lakeside, as bull riding takes center stage this weekend. A variety of rodeo competitions are set for the ring, including steer wrestling, team roping, bronc riding, barrel racing, and more. Kids also get in on the action with the Kids Stick Horse Race.

Opera Celebration Concert
Where: Spreckels Organ Pavilion; Cost: Free
San Diego Opera will present a preview of the 2019-20 opera season with favorites like Hansel & Gretel, the Barber of Seville, and Aida sung by SD Opera cast members at Balboa Park's Spreckels Organ Pavilion, with organist Raúl Prieto Ramírez.

SATURDAY

Adams Avenue Unplugged
Where: Adams Avenue; Cost: Free
Two miles of free music take over Normal Heights during Adams Avenue Unplugged, where families can traverse more than 20 stages packed with live music and performances. Stages are set up outside and inside local restaurants, giving each performance its own special ambiance.

San Diego Kids Expo and Fair
Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds; Cost: $7.50 - $35
(Saturday - Sunday) Families can check out the newest in kids toys and technology and check out live music, robotics, a play zone with rides and inflatable fun outdoors, and more. Stations ranging in CPR training to a petting zoo to arts and crafts are all available for families to check out.

23rd annual Barrio Logan Grand Prix
Where: Barrio Logan; Cost: Free for spectators
Bicyclists will take to the streets of downtown Barrio Logan along a .8-mile course in a thrilling race between pro racers and top-level amateurs. A kids zone offers children free helmets and the chance to take part in a bicycle safety rodeo, and free health screenings for families will also be available.

SUNDAY

30th annual San Diego EarthFair
Where: Balboa Park; Cost: Free
Celebrate Earth Day in Balboa Park with more than 300 exhibitors, specially themed areas, and Earth Day parade, entertainment, food, and more. A children's activity area will feature crafts and games, hands-on activities, and storytelling, all geared at educating and entertaining in the spirit of Earth Day.

35th annual Mission Federal ArtWalk
Where: Little Italy; Cost: Free
(Saturday - Sunday) More than 300 artists will fill the streets of Little Italy with iconic neighborhood art and goods during Mission Federal ArtWalk. The festival also features interactive art installations, live music and entertainment, a variety of artistic mediums, and other special attractions.

Encinitas Spring Street Fair
Where: Highway 101; Cost: Free
(Saturday - Sunday) Enjoy street food, five stages of live music, children's rides, and hundreds of vendors at Encinitas' Spring Street Fair. A variety of free family fun is set to take of Highway 101, whether you're enjoying a taste of brews at the beer garden or taking fiddo for a stroll at a dog park and obstacle course.
