(KGTV) — In a move to entice annual passholders, Disney's California Adventure park is offering a special, private hour at one of the park's most popular rides.

From Aug. 25 - 31, annual passholders can enjoy an extra hour at Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout! after the park closes from 9 p.m. - 10 p.m. Guests also get to take home a special lithograph in honor of their extended journey to aid the Marvel heroes.

Those who visit on Aug. 31 will also get a commemorative button upon entry to celebrate California Adventure's anniversary.

The offer comes just as passholders continue to schedule around blackout dates, many of which are scheduled in August for Disneyland but not California Adventure.

That, coupled with a recent report that Disneyland attendance dropped despite the opening of Galaxy's Edge in Disney's third quarter, points to efforts to try and get passholders back to the park.

Through Aug. 30, Disneyland and California Adventure are also still running a "bring-a-friend" deal for passholders, offering up to three 1-Day Park Hopper tickets for friends for $99 each.
