(KGTV) — Disney officials are hoping to provide some relief to the scores of crowds expected to attend the opening of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" this summer.
Disneyland's parking lots will open at midnight on May 31 in anticipation of early arrivals. Disney warns that motorists shouldn't arrive before then and will not be allowed to stop on city streets to wait for lots to open.
Starting June 1, parking lots will then open at 5:30 a.m. for guests.

Those using Lyft or Uber to rideshare to the park are being asked to set their drop off to Downtown Disney to cut down on traffic around the park's entrances and lots.
While Disneyland's new parking "Pixar Pals" parking structure is set to open soon, for now, guests are being directed to the "Mickey & Friends" and "Toy Story" parking lots as the primary areas to park.
During the opening of "Galaxy's Edge," motorists will be directed to the appropriate lot by parking teams.
"Galaxy's Edge" opens to reservations on May 31 through June 23. After, the "Star Wars" land will open to guests without having to book a reservation.
