SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Working out at a gym everyday may not be the best approach to new years resolutions for some San Diegans.

Classes or fitness programs may offer the best approach for some and that allow for some workout experiences that may not be traditional but are just as effective.

For some, it's time to look beyond the dumbbells and treadmills, and there's no shortage of activities to help make that happen.
