Looking for somewhere to take the kids to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season? There are a number of upcoming events happening around San Diego County that are sure to keep the kids entertained.
The City of Poway is hosting their holiday tradition, Christmas in the Park. The event takes place on December 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Take in some live music, caroling, horse-drawn hay rides and seasonal treats. Attendees can also do some last-minute Christmas shopping at the craft boutique.
If you’re bringing the kids, board the Poway Midland Railroad for a ride around the park. The lighting of the community Christmas Tree is set to take place at 5:15. Christmas in the Park is a free event.
Take the kids on a unique holiday experience at the Frosty Farm.
The even combines festive activities with hands-on animal interactions. The Frosty Farm will be held on December 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Click here for ticket prices.
