SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego's weekend is ripe with events for the whole family.
San Diego Beer Week continues into the weekend, with opportunities to tour local breweries, taste new beers, and pair delicious eats with your favorite brews.
This weekend, San Diego also celebrates Veteran's Day with it's annual Veteran's Day parade along the Embarcadero. Celebrate our nation's vets at one of the nation's largest parades featuring all five branches of the military.
The weekend is perfect for a nice run too. Temecula and Coronado are both holding their own hal marathon and 5K events so no matter your location in the county, you can lace up your shoes and hit the pavement.

San Diego's Fashion Festival brings emerging and celebrity designers to town to showcase their spring/summer collections and wares. The festival will feature fashion shows, industry meet and greets, trunk shows, and more.
18th annual San Diego Asian Film Festival at San Diego Natural History Museum
When: Thursday, Nov. 9
Film buffs will experience more than 150 films from 20 countries in 30 languages spanning action, romance, comedy, drama, animation, documentaries, and family-friendly films. Q&As with filmmakers, opportunities to meet cast and crew and podcast panels will also be hosted.
Veteran's Day weekend at The New Children's Museum
When: Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 12
Military families can receive free admission to The New Children’s Museum all weekend in celebration of Veteran's Day. Visitors are encouraged to donate to provide free access to military families in the future as well.
20th annual SnowJam Ski and Snowboard Expo at Del Mar Fairgrounds
When: Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 12
Check out all things skiing and snowboarding at the SnowJam expo this weekend. Attendees can grab special deals for Snow Summit, Bear Mountain, and other resorts and score deep discounts on snow gear.
3rd annual Escondido Tamale Festival at Grape Day Park in Escondido
When: Saturday, Nov. 11
Hungry? Escondido's Tamale Festival is packed with traditional, gourmet, and vegan tamale dishes spanning a variety of ingredients. Attendees can check out tamale contests, a Chihuahua costume contest, craft beer and wine garden, cultural performances and more.
31st annual San Diego Veteran's Day Parade at Embarcadero Park
When: Saturday, Nov. 11
San Diego's annual Veteran's Day parade kicks off at 11 a.m. on North Harbor Drive, celebrating active duty and veteran service members with the theme of "A Tribute To Heroes At Home." Check out the nation's largest public parade of U.S. Armed Forces in uniform formations from all five military branches.
Food Truck Festival at Del Mar Fairgrounds

Like food trucks? Check out some of the area's tastiest food on wheels at the Del Mar Fairgrounds for the Food Truck Festival. More than 20 food trucks are expected with gourmet chefs slinging their finest eats for foodies.
Silver Strand Half Marathon, 10-mile, & Veterans Day 5K race at Sunset Park in Coronado

Lace up your running shoes for a run through Coronado this weekend. Racers will get all the motivation they need with live entertainment along the race course and can celebrate their victory at a post-race beach party and beer garden.
12th annual UH Arts Open and Taste of University Heights
