SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - This weekend is packed with some great excuses to get outside and enjoy that springtime weather sweeping across San Diego County.
If you're a runner or walker, the Peace-Love-Run event or Trash Dash 5K is sure to get you moving - and in one case, possibly groovin'.
The San Diego Padres are getting ready to step to the plate this season with their annual FanFest event, giving visitors the chance to meet players and take to Petco Park's field throughout the day.

Think you can run a 5K and clean up the community at the same time? The Trash Dash will feature a run along Encinitas' iconic coast, while cleaning the course along the way.
