SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Easter weekend will have a number of egg hunts going on around the county and there are a few other events that should be at the top of your list.

Here's a look at some things to do in San Diego this weekend:

Find an Easter egg hunt

With Easter weekend comes a slew of Easter egg hunt events around the county. Check with your local park to see where the hunts are happening this weekend.

Spring Extravaganza at Birch Aquarium at Scripps -  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Birch Aquarium is celebrating Easter weekend with an underwater egg hunting and educational activities for the whole family. More info.

The Wizard of Oz by San Diego Symphony at Jacobs Music Center - Saturday

The San Diego Symphony will screen the classic film The Wizard of Oz while playing the iconic score live. Come dressed to impress, as there will be a pre-concert costume contest. Themed drinks will also be served. More info.

SoCal Pro Wrestling's 10th Anniversary event at Oceanside Boys & Girls Club - Saturday

Come out and see your favorite local wrestlers celebrate SoCal Pro Wrestling's 10-year anniversary in Oceanside. There will also be a meet and greet with WWE legend Rey Mysterio. More info.

16th annual Taste of Hillcrest at various restaurants in Hillcrest - Saturday

Sample some of the best cuisine from more than 35 restaurants in Hillcrest on a self-guided walking tour. The tour will give participants a foodie tour of the area, with restaurants featuring American comfort food to Thai food and French eateries. More info.

Wanderlust 108 at Liberty Station - Saturday

This three-part triathlon features a 5K run or walk, yoga session, and meditation session, promoting uplifting fitness. The event will feature live music, vendors, local foods, and education from nationally recognized teachers and spiritual leaders.  More info.

Night Nation Run at Del Mar Fairgrounds - Saturday

The "world's first running music festival" makes it's way to Del Mar this weekend. Runners and walkers will be taken through an illuminated racecourse with multiple stages of DJ's, leading to the main stage after party with celebrity performers.  More info.

Mission Valley Craft Beer & Food Festival at Qualcomm Stadium - Saturday

The 7th annual Mission Valley Craft Beer and Food Festival will feature some of the region's best craft beers, foods, and live music. General admission even scores you unlimited samples. More info.

Red Bull Air Race World Championship at Port of San Diego - Saturday and Sunday

 

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship kicks off in San Diego Saturday in San Diego Bay, with races flying through Sunday. Pilots will race in qualifying rounds on Saturday, while the Championship races take place Sunday. More than 50,000 fans are expected to take in the electric air races. More info.

 

CETC US Open Powerlifting Championships at Del Mar Fairgrounds - Saturday and Sunday

More than $200,000 in cash prizes will be on the line as weightlifters compete at the CETC US Open Championships. Men and women will be competing in specific powerlifting categories. More info

Belmont’s Easter Bash at Belmont Park - Sunday

While the Easter egg hunt at Belmont Park is sold out, there are still plenty of other opportunities to celebrate Easter at the bash. A special egg hunt throughout the amusement park is free to everyone and brunch will be offered up at Wavehouse and Draft. The Easter Bunny will also be there for photos and of course, there's the park itself. More info.
