SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego has a big weekend ahead.
Fans of bocce ball, over-the-line, and golf are in luck, with some fun championships and events taking over the local sports scene. The 117th annual Women's Amateur Golf Championship comes to Chula Vista and Bocce Bash will hit Qualcomm Stadium.
Also this weekend, Art Walk San Diego at Liberty Station and CityFest in Hillcrest are sure to bring out crowds to enjoy food, drink, and local art.

117th Annual USGA Women's Amateur Golf Championship at San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
The "oldest women's golf championship" in the world is coming to Chula Vista this week. Some of the greatest golfers have gone on from the amateur championship to success in other USGA championships. Hometown favorites are in the running this year, including Brooke Seay, of San Diego, and Haley Moore, of Escondido. More information.

26th Annual Automobile Heritage Day Festival and Car Show in National City - Saturday
Motorheads unite for this annual display of classic cars and the newest super models. More than 200 entrants will compete for an array of car awards while spectators take in some deep automobile heritage and vendors. Entry is free for spectators. More information.
East Village workout session on J Street - Saturday
Get moving in this free workout session being offered in the 800 block of J St. this weekend. Classes ranging from yoga to pilates and even Crossfit will be held in the street throughout the morning with live music and giveaways. More information.
Goldfield Stage Bocce Bash at Qualcomm Stadium - Saturday
Bocce players will face off at Qualcomm Stadium as Bocce Bash returns. Players are encouraged to sign up - no experience is needed - for a day of bocce ball, live music, a uniform contest, and delicious brews provided by Coronado Brewing Company. Burgers and Brews Invitational at Del Mar Fairgrounds - Saturday
Unlimited burgers, craft beer tastings, live music from Ludacris, and gourmet french fries. Need we say more? The Burgers and Brews Invitational kicks off a Saturday at the racetrack with some delicious burger and beer combinations and grants attendees free access to the races, viewing area, and concert series featuring hip-hop artist Ludacris. More than 200 dog-related vendors will be out in Encinitas for the annual Dog Days of Summer event, featuring pet adoptions, live music, dog contests, kids activities, food, and a beer and wine garden. 48th Annual OMBAC Junior Over-the-Line Tournament at Fiesta Island - Sunday
You may have checked out OMBAC's official OTL tournament last month, now it's the kids' turn. The round robin tournament kicks off early and offers a family friendly alternative to the well-known adult tournament.
