HBO bringing 'Game of Thrones,' 'Westworld,' Lin-Manuel Miranda to San Diego Comic-Con

(KGTV) — HBO is bringing two beloved series and a highly-anticipated show to San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

The network confirmed Thursday "Game of Thrones," "Westworld," and "His Dark Materials" would appear for Hall H panels at Comic-Con.

"His Dark Materials" comes to SDCC for the first time on Thursday, for a 4:45 p.m. panel with stars James McAvoy (Lord Asriel), Dafne Keen (Lyra), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee Scoresby), Jane Tranter (executive producer) and Ruth Wilson (Mrs. Coulter). An autograph signing session is scheduled before the panel at 2:45 p.m.

"GoT" hits Hall H on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and autograph signing at 3:30 p.m. for fans. The panel will sport a who's-who of Westeros, including Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath), Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark).

"GoT" creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and director Miguel Sapochnik will also attend the panel.

On Saturday, HBO's "Westworld" will have a 1:15 p.m. Hall H panel with cast members Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jeffrey Wright. An autograph session for fans is also planned at 11:45 a.m. that day.

All autograph signings will be held at the DC Warner Bros booth #4545. Attendees can log into their Comic-Con Member ID accounts to submit a autograph session request.

HBO also teased fans to be on the lookout around the Gaslamp District for a "Watchmen"-themed surprise. The "in-world opportunity" will center around the network's upcoming "Watchmen" series set to debut Fall 2019.
