DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV)--Friday marks the start of a busy opening weekend at the 2017 San Diego County Fair.
This year's theme is "Where the West is Fun," based on the wild west days. Expect to see cowboy hats, boots and country music.

Día de la Familia: Mexican culture is celebrated at Fiesta Village in Family Funville and the Plaza Stage.
Hole in the Wall Gang: Demonstration of cowboy skills. Located in the Del Mar Arena.
