Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is coming back to San Diego.

But the event he's coming into town for will be a lot different than his May 27 rally inside the convention center - when violence erupted outside. Trump's coming July 13 for a fundraiser inside the Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe. A spokeswoman for the club says it will be held at a private home within its gates.

The event, hosted by high profile San Diegans such as Madeleine Pickens, Jenny Craig, and Doug Manchester, will cost a minimum $25,000 to get in. None were available for comment Tuesday.

Trump is trying to raise money to close the fundraising gap with presumptive Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton, who has $40 million more cash in hand, the latest campaign finance records show.

The gates to the Del Mar Country Club are at the end of a quiet, tree-lined street in Rancho Santa Fe, about four miles from the unincorporated area's downtown.

Still, questions are now being raised about whether the scene on the rural street will resemble anything like what happened the last time Trump was here - when police made 35 arrests and pushed remaining crowds into Barrio Logan.

A spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said it's too early for the agency to have a plan. The county Sheriff's department and the San Diego Police have yet to return calls.

The R.S.V.P. contact on the event's invitation declined to comment.
