In the San Diego community, late Officer Jonahthan “JD” DeGuzman is gone, but never forgotten. Soon, a Chula Vista bridge may be named in his honor.
The San Diego Police Officer’s Association has established the DeGuzman Memorial Bridge Fund to support a project to rename the Palomar Street Bridge.

The SDPOA is asking the community to help them reach their goal “to raise $10,000 for this important memorial to a fallen hero and add to the community he died protecting.”

Once the project is complete and finalized, any excess funds, if any, will be rolled over into the SDPOA Charity Fund.
