SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--Twelve employees of an illegal marijuana delivery service were arrested Wednesday, according to the San Diego Police Department. 

Twelve employees, including delivery drivers, were arrested and issued citations for operating a business without a license and sales of marijuana, police said in a statement. 

Approximately 41 pounds of marijuana was found at Left Coast Collective on the 3400 block of Kurtz Street. The police also found: 

  • 8,000 edibles and concentrated cannabis
  • Indoor marijuana grow containing more than 100 marijuana plants
  • Cocaine
  • $5,600 cash

SDPD announced it, along with the San Diego City Attorney's office, has closed down 61 illegal marijuana dispensaries by using search warrants.

"All persons operating and working for any of these illegal marijuana businesses will be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," SDPD said in a statement.
