Surveillance photo shows suspects wanted in connection with series of gas station robberies

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police released a surveillance photo Tuesday in connection with a series of armed robberies at convenience stores throughout San Diego.

The first robbery occurred Sunday around 10:55 p.m. when two men robbed a Shell gas station on Torrey Pines Road. Less than an hour later, suspects matching the description of the men who robbed the Shell gas station used a handgun to rob yet another Shell station but this time in Linda Vista. They took cash, snacks and cigarettes and fled in a car.

A series of three robberies followed in the early morning hours of Monday:

  • Monday 1:00 a.m.: 7-Eleven at 103 West Worthington St. in Spring Valley
  • 3:17 a.m.: Shell station at 330 Washington St. in San Diego
  • 3:45 a.m.: 7-Eleven at 7607 Broadway in Lemon Grove

No one was injured in this series of robberies.

Police say they are also trying to track down a vehicle described as a 1990s Mustang.
