RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was stung multiple times by a swarm of bees in Ramona Wednesday.
Cal Fire officials responded to the report of a 38-year-old man who was stung multiple times in the 15000 block of Wyeport Road.
The man was brought to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his injuries but was not admitted.
The man's wife told 10News that her husband, who is a beekeeper, was working outside too closely to an active hive when the swarm began stinging him.

The incident is the second such run in with bees in the North County in two days, after a mother walked into a swarm of bees while walking with her baby and dog in Rancho Bernardo on Tuesday.
A neighbor heard the woman's screams and came to her aid, pulling her baby and her away from the scene.
The baby was reportedly okay but the mother was taken by ambulance to Palomar Medical Center to receive treatment for her injuries.
