SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police Friday are investigating the discovery of a body in a canyon near Naval Medical Center San Diego, just outside of Balboa Park.
Police said someone spotted a man’s body in a canyon near Florida Drive and Zoo Place and reported it at about 1 a.m.
The person who found the body told police the deceased man may have been in the canyon for several days.
Police are working to determine if the man died from natural causes or was a homicide victim.
