A storm to the north will work its way to the east today and tomorrow with occasional showers possible Tuesday.
Temperatures will be much cooler as well with highs 5 to nearly 30 degrees below normal on Tuesday and Wednesday; recovering later this week.
The best chance for light showers will over the valleys and coastal areas, Tuesday morning. Rain totals will be light with 0.10-0.20"
The skies will break by the afternoon with a bit of sunshine. Drizzle can't be ruled out again Wednesday morning.
Winds coming from the west will continue to keep us cool with gusts up to 25 mph along the coast and valleys. Stronger winds will target the mountains and the deserts with westerly gusts of 40 to 55 mph. A Wind Advisorywill be in effect in this area from 6pm Tuesday through 8am Wednesday.
High pressure will build later this week, with improving and warming temperatures starting on Thursday and into the weekend.
