...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
areas, Apple and Lucerne Valleys, Coachella Valley, Riverside
County Mountains, San Bernardino County Mountains, San Diego
County Deserts, San Diego County Mountains and San Gorgonio Pass
near Banning.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM PDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered showers and thunderstorms will spread northward
across the area through tonight with heaviest rainfall
through the early evening. Some thunderstorms will produce
locally heavy rainfall, which may lead to flooding. The most
likely peak hourly rainfall is around one-half inch with
isolated maximum hourly rainfall to 1 inch.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
