(KGTV) — Authorities are investigating the mysterious death of Josie Lynn Harris, mother of former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s children.
Deputies responded to a medical call Tuesday around 10 p.m. at a residence in the 25000 block of Oak Meadows Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Harris, 40, was found unresponsive inside a vehicle parked in a driveway, and was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. The cause of death is under investigation and no further details have been released.
Harris is the mother of three of Mayweather's children, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
“Our homicide investigators are handling the case and they’re working together with the coroners to determine the cause of the death,” Villanueva said during an interview with KABC in Los Angeles. Villanueva said there are no known witnesses at this time.
