Princess Charlotte has been no stranger to the spotlight in 2019. The 4-year-old princess has been caught by the camera quite a few times, and the photos have been priceless. She got the photographers laughing when she stuck out her tongue during a photo op at the King’s Cup Regatta race last summer. And, Princess Charlotte could not have been cuter on her first day of preschool at the Wilcocks Nursery School in the fall.

But now, this precious little princess is starting to take on more royal duties, and this Christmas marked her first time attending the royal family’s Christmas walk to church. She joined her older brother, 6-year-old Prince George, and her parents William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess Cambridge. Even grandpa Prince Charles joined his grandchildren on the walk to Church of St. Mary Magdalene located on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s baby brother, 1-year-old Prince Louis, was still a bit too young to join in on the holiday pomp and circumstance. So, he stayed home with his nanny while his older siblings took the stroll to church with the family.

Following the Christmas service, the younger members of the royal family gathered on the church steps to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth. As the Queen’s car pulled away, Princess Charlotte (after a little encouragement from her mother) can be seen curtsying to her.

Royal watchers such as Twitter user Isa couldn’t get enough of how cute Princess Charlotte looked doing her dainty curtsy.

It looks like the next generation of British royals had quite the exciting Christmas Day and handled their first official holiday duties with grace and ease.
