SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Poway High School senior Lexie Roche was definitely one of the most involved students on campus.

Her list of accomplishments were most impressive. She was selected Titan Ambassador, a four year member of ASB, as well as a peer councilor. She says it was always important for her to give back to her school and community.

"Getting involved at Poway High has given me an opportunity and platform to make a difference in the lives of others, and serve as a role model"

And if she wasn't busy enough, she was a four year member of the national champion Poway dance team.

"Being apart of such a successful dance team was so rewarding because of the friendships I created, and the memories that I made. My value of work ethic is now stronger than ever before"

Lexi's teachers will tell you she's a true role model on the Poway High School campus. But just like all seniors, she is disappointed her final year was halted due to coronavirus.

"I'm so sad at the loss of my senior year, and wish that I got to experience walking through the halls with my best friends one last time. I've made the most out of my four years at Poway High, and I'm truly thankful for that because saying goodbye so soon is extremely difficult."
