SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The woman accused of pointing a pellet gun at police during the Rock-N-Roll Marathon in downtown San Diego pleaded guilty Wednesday to resisting an officer.

San Diego Police arrested Mona Williams, 58, after they said she ran from the scene of a crash into the Civic Center Plaza parking garage at 1st Ave. and A Street in June.

In the chaos, police said Williams pointed an airsoft gun at them. They fired shots at her but missed. One officer shot himself in the leg by accident.

The incident brought the Rock-N-Roll marathon to a standstill for almost an hour.

Body cam footage showed Williams surrendered to officers and told them she was mentally ill.

Williams will be sentenced Dec. 21.
