LAKE FOREST, Calif. (KGTV) -- A woman and two firefighters were injured after being attacked by a swarm of bees in lake Forest Monday morning, according to authorities.
Firefighters say the incident happened around 10:25 a.m. on the 23000 block of Buckland Lane.
The woman was described by the Orange County Fire Authority as being roughly 50-years-old.
According to authorities, the woman is in critical condition after being stung “hundreds of times.” Two firefighters were also taken to the hospital in stable condition after being stung several times.
The bee hive was removed from the area after being located in nearby bushes.
