SAN DIEGO - Authorities are asking for the public's help in tracking down a woman accused of racking up thousands of dollars in credit card charges while using a Santee woman's personal information.
Sheriff's officials said the suspected identity thief used the victim's information to open credit card accounts at Target, JCPenney, Lowe's and T-Mobile. The unidentified woman made about $8,220 in total purchases on the accounts.
A reward of $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the thief's arrest.
