SAN DIEGO -- Most federal, state and local government offices will be closed for the Labor Day holiday.
In the city of San Diego, that includes administrative offices, libraries, recreation centers and the Tecolote Nature Center.
The Miramar Landfill, Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center and municipal golf courses will be open with regular hours. Chollas Lake will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and city-run pools will be available from noon to 4 p.m.
Curbside trash pickup will be delayed one day.
In the county of San Diego, administrative offices, libraries and animal shelters will be shut down for the day. Also closed will be community and teen centers in Fallbrook, Lakeside and Spring Valley.
County-run parks and campgrounds will remain open.
The Metropolitan Transit System and North County Transit District will run their buses, trains and trolleys on a Sunday schedule.
For the MTS, that means there will be no service on some Express, Rapid and Rural Routes. Details are available online here.
