VISTA, Calif. (KGTV)--A five-year-old boy had to be airlifted to Rady Children's Hospital Sunday after he was bitten on the head by a family dog.
Vista Fire Department responded to a call of a child attacked by a pit bull at 5:08 p.m. at 1019 Rhea Place.
The boy was reportedly in stable condition despite his injuries.
Animal control took custody of the canine.
