SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Surveillance video shows a thief literally shopping on front doorsteps in Mission Valley, shopping cart and all.
Dang Tran got an alert on his phone around 3 Tuesday afternoon. When he watched his surveillance video, his jaw dropped.
"Just shocking. Can't explain it. Just really shocking," said Tran.
In the video, a casually dressed man pushes a shopping cart that appears to be filled with packages. In front of Tran's townhouse on Civita Boulevard, the man hops up the stairs and grabs a package, before walking away with the cart.
"It's like he was shopping the neighborhood for packages ... Just a violating feeling," said Tran.
Inside Tran's package was $200 dollars of baby formula for his infant daughter. On the Nextdoor app, other neighbors also reported missing packages that same day.
"I think there was probably more than a thousand dollars worth of packages in the cart," said Tran.
Amid the posts, a possible clue: the same man has been spotted at park less than a block away.
