A Grossmont High School senior got very creative with who she asked to prom and how she decided to go about it.
Lydia Halcott wants to go to prom with Ellen DeGeneres, and it looks like she got the entire school to get behind the idea.
In a video she made and sent to the comedian and talk show host, she has her friends, classmates and even teachers help her ask the biggest question in a high school senior's life.
Halcott sent the video to Ellen on Thursday, but has not received an answer back yet.
So Ellen, will you go to prom with Lydia?
