SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--The San Diego Police Department's Southern Division is reaching out to the public to find vandals who have been shooting home and car windows since April.
More than thirty vehicles have had windows damaged by paint or by a BB or pellet gun.
The crimes started April 8 and at least five happened last weekend, according to SDPD Detective Sergeant Deana De Los Reyes. Most cases occurred between dusk and dawn.
The SDPD Southern Division serves the neighborhoods of Border, Egger Highlands, Nestor, Ocean Crest, Otay Mesa, Otay Mesa West, Palm City, San Ysidro and Tijuana River Valley.
