(KGTV) - A car was spotted dangling dangerously from a Santa Monica parking garage Monday, prompting an emergency response.
The incident was reported at around 10:30 a.m. at a parking garage in the 1400 block of 4th Street, near Santa Monica Boulevard and the busy Third Street Promenade.
About two-thirds of a gray-silver Honda Civic was seen dangling from the edge of the fourth floor, but it was being held by wiring on the building.
Santa Monica Fire Department officials said an urban search and rescue team was summoned to stabilize the car and help remove it from the edge.
The area was blocked off as crews worked to move the car to safety.

Just after 12 p.m., fire officials said crews safely brought the car back into the parking structure.
No injuries were reported.

There is no immediate word on what caused the car to dangle from the edge or if authorities have made contact with the car's owner.
