Two people are recovering after being shot in the Lomita area Friday night.
Police were called after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots in the area of Meadowbrook Drive and Gribble Street.
Police say several people were inside an open garage when the suspects pulled up, either in a car, or on foot, and opened fire five to ten times.
When police and medics arrived on scene they located two men in their 50’s with gunshot wounds.
One of the men suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and the other was shot in the ankle.
Both men were taken to a nearby hospital. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
