A man in his 30s and a man in his 60s were stabbed Saturday night in the driveway of a San Diego apartment complex, authorities said.

It happened just after 9 p.m. in the 4300 block of Illinois Street, San Diego police Officer Ben Newton said.

The victims were in a group of people gathered in the apartment complex driveway when four to five men got into an argument and a man in his 40s pulled out a folding knife, Newton said.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the man in his 30s several times in the upper left torso and the man in his 60s in the lower left abdomen, the officer said.

The victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening wounds and the suspect was taken into custody.

The names of the victims and the suspect were being withheld.
